SERENDIPITY QUILT SHOP MONTHLY CALENDAR OF EVENTS
August 2010 Calendar
September 2010 Calendar
October 2010 Calendar

Purchase the "Christmas Elves" pattern by DisaDesigns (Available at the shop) and create your own design using the basic assembly instructions used for the Elves. Judy (Kathy's Sister) made the Elf and then with the same pattern and a dash of creativity created this witch. You may also want to give your creation an "activity"(Suggested by Jeff, Kathy's son). Example: The witch with the basket of herbs and the elf with a "Merry Christmas" stitchery. Once you have made your creation, return it to the shop by October 15th so we can put it on display for our customers to vote on their favorites. Then on October 23rd at 9:30am, join us for breakfast and the awards ceremony.

ROUND TWO- DONT MISS OUT! Only 7 spaces left! On September 13th from 9 to 5pm, Serendipity Quilt Shop and Marie from Pinewater Quilting are joining forces for the Quilts of Valor. Taking place in the future home of Serendipity Quilt Shop (The little gray building to the right of the Movie Theater in Dagsboro), Marie will be providing her long arm machine for you to come for a 1 hour time slot and quilt a Quilt of Valor quilt. Call the shop for available time slots. The goal is to get some of the quilt tops that have been donated to the QOV quilted and ready for binding. Not only is this a great way to contribute towards the cause but also to experience working on a long arm! To join the fun, call or stop by the shop to claim your time slot!

The blocks in this QOV quilt top were made at our last QOV Day!

It's That Time Again! Come to the Quilt of Valor "Make a Block Day" and show your patriotic support for our military men and women! This event will be held at the Serendipity Quilt Shop, Main Street, Dagsboro on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 9 to 4. Materials, machines, and all supplies will be provided. ALL ages are welcome and no quilting skills are necessary. Quilts of Valor is a nonprofit
foundation providing quality quilts for service men and women who
have served in past and current conflicts and wars. Make a block or two that will be added to a Quilt of Valor. For additional information please call Serendipty Quilt Shop (302)732-6304 or Lenny Truitt (302)629-3748
